Qbox Gallery is pleased to present the first solo show of Michail Pirgelis in Greece. He received a Masterclass at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Prof. Rosemarie Trockel and has been the recipient of the Audi Art Award for ‘New Positions’ (Art Cologne, 2010), the Schloss Ringenberg Grant (2010), the Adolf Loos-Preis of Van den Valentyn Foundation (Cologne, 2008) and Villa Romana Award (Florence, 2007).

Qbox is glad to present Pavlos Nikolakopoulos new body of work in his second solo show at the gallery. He has participated in numerous group shows, such as: Thessaloniki Biennale, Greece (2011, 2009, 2007); 25th Alexandria Biennial, Egypt (2009), Contemporary Art in Greece in the 21st Century, Beltsios Collection (2006); Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art, Greece (2005)

Qbox Gallery will present the second solo exhibition in Greece of the video artist Ali Kazma. In collaboration with the Benaki Museum a discussion will be held between the artist and Paolo Colombo. Kazma has exhibited internationally including 2012 Sao Paulo Biennial; Istanbul Biennial - 2001, 2007, 2011; 9th Havana Biennial; 2007 Lyon Biennial; Tokyo Opera City; Platform Garanti, Istanbul and The Smithsonian Hirschhorn Museum, Washington, D.C. in 2012.

Group exhibition featuring works by Ellie Coates, Sileia Daskopoulou, David Gates, Apostolos Michailides, David Mathis, Adrian Piper, Ugo Rondinone, Malick Sidibé, Tabakopoulos and Foundoulis, Rosemarie Trockel and Karen Yasinski.

Qbox Gallery presents the third solo show of Eleni Panouklia. The installation Apomonopticon is an architectural system of accessible and non-accessible cells. It is an experiential interactive work which mainly operates with the sensation of sound and light. Panouklia has participated in the 2nd Mardin Biennale 2012; Berlin Athina Caid in Athens 2010; 2nd Thessaloniki Biennale 2009; Preview Berlin 2008; Contemporary Istanbul 2007 among others.

Paola Palavidi in collaboration with Ioannis Koliopoulos will present their first solo show at Qbox Gallery. Through a rich visual vocabulary, the artists redefine any established identity and construct innovative scenes that allow different levels of interpretation.

Group show featuring new works by Thodoris Giannakis, Pavlos Nikolakopoulos, Michail Pirgelis. Dr. Irit Rogoff, Professor of Visual Culture at Goldsmiths College London University, will frame the closing of the exhibition with a lecture on Participation: A User’s Guide.

Qbox Gallery continues its annual Residency Program with a solo exhibition of artist Radhika Khimji. Khimji's most recent exhibitions include a solo show at Bose Pacia in New York and group exhibitions at the Saatchi Gallery and INIVA in London. Furthermore, her work has been shown at major art fairs such as Art Dubai, The Indian Art Summit and Art Basel Miami Beach.

Qbox Gallery is pleased to present the second solo show of Megan and Murray McMillan in Greece. Their work has been featured in film festivals in New York, London, Los Angeles, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Greece and Romania. Their work has been included in the Wild Things exhibition at the Kunsthallen Brandts in Odense, Denmark (2010), the 2nd Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art (2009), and the 10th International Istanbul Biennial (2007).

Qbox Gallery presents the first solo show of Luba Lukova. Her works are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Library of Congress, Washington, DC; and Bibliotheque Nationale de France among others. Lukova has received commissions for her work from The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time, Adobe Systems, Sony Music, Harvard University and the Cultural Ministry of France.

Qbox gallery announces Daniel Barroca’s first solo exhibition in Greece. Daniel Barroca spent one month on the island of Kea as a resident artist. The artist presents four videos that result from the process of cutting and dismantling the original ‘narrative’ structure of the film in his aim to find a different point of view over the old original footage.

Since the artists first solo show at P.S. 1 in 1979, Heide Fasnacht has been a constant presence in the New York art scene. Qbox Gallery is pleased to present her first solo show in Greece.

Alithinos is one of the most renowned artists of his generation and has been at the forefront of the Greek avant-garde in the ‘70s.
